Life Support Courses
Life support courses are provided around the country. However, only locally delivered courses within Yorkshire and the Humber will be funded. Unfortunately, these courses book up very, very quickly. Therefore, trainees are advised to apply for these a long way in advance. Whilst the common life support courses (ALS, ATLS, APLS) are usually funded during the training years it is up to the discretion of the TPD as to whether the timing of the course is appropriate to the trainee's level of training. If in doubt about the appropriateness of a course or whether it will be funded please contact your TPD, or College Tutor.
