Appraisals and Assessments
You will be assessed throughout your dentistry training to ensure that you are making satisfactory progress. Trainees who are not making satisfactory progress may require an extension to their training.
The assessment process differs dependent on the level of training.
All DCT trainees and DFT/DCT year 2 trainees will be subject to an interim review of competence (IRCP) progression and a final review of competence progression (FRCP).

For this, you are required to submit ongoing evidence of progression against your specialty's curriculum.
You are also required to submit a Form R for each ARCP. If you are an Oral Medicine trainee that is subject to Revalidation, please use this Form R instead.
