Dental Foundation Training.
Health Education England working across Yorkshire and the Humber is coordinating Dental Foundation recruitment on behalf of Yorkshire and Humber and North East. All posts have the required educational and Dean’s approval.

The application window for Dental Foundation Training opens on 15 August 2019 and the window will close on 12th September 2019
Applications are invited for appointment to dental schemes nationally.

The 2020 recruitment process for Dental Core Training will follow the timeline below:

Interview Dates and Venue
The interviews for Dental Foundation Training will take place between Tuesday 19th and Thursday 21st November 2019 at various locations across the UK.

The interviews for all vacancies will comprise:
- 1x 10 minute Generic Station
- 1x 10 minute Specialty Specific Station
- 1 x 55 minute Situational Judgement Test ( Completed online)
The SJT sittings will be scheduled at appropriate times so as not to cause delays in the interview schedule.
Travel and Subsistence Expenses
Applicants attending interviews are entitled to a travel and subsistence allowance. A claim form can be downloaded from the Downloads section on the right of this page. You are advised to read the guidance document in full before incurring any expenses.

Claim forms must be received within three months of your interview date. Claim forms received after three months will not be processed. Receipts must be attached for all travel and subsistence claimed except mileage.
