Interviews will be held On Microsoft Teams on a date to be confirmed, (a round 2 is not expected in 2021). Applicants submit one application electronically for all vacancies via the Oriel recruitment portal.

The "National Otolaryngology Handbook" and the "Self Assessment Guidance" is available in the Documents section of this webpage.
We are aware of an inconsistency in the National Otolaryngology Self-assessment guidance on the application form regarding evidence acquired between application and self-assessment verification.
We would like to confirm that applicants should score themselves based only upon elements achieved up until the closing date of application.
Applicants will then be able to include evidence of additional achievements between application closing date and the Self-Assessment Upload deadline within the evidence they upload, this will then also be scored by the verifiers.
We will send out a specific email regarding this to all applicants once the vacancy closes.
On 22 October 2020, The MDRS senior team held a webinar to address questions from candidates applying to all specialties in 2021 as well as offering guidance and advice. We recommend all candidates watch this in addition to reading the guidance. Please do note that the information was correct at the time of it being presented. the webinar can be found here.
